A few months back, I bought my first Golden Goose sneakers (and shared them first in this post!), and got tons of questions from you guys ever since. So many that I figured I’d dive in and give you a detailed review! I’ve also worn them enough now that I can confidently speak to their craftsmanship, and a number of other aspects about them, which you’ll see me go more into detail about.

Where did you score your pair?
Cettire had them on sale and I took advantage right away!
I ordered them on April 28th and they were delivered by April 30th, so the shipping was super fast .
How much do they run?
Back in April, I managed to get them for $385.43 instead of paying the full $513.91.
You can expect to pay between $410 and $1,700 depending on their uniqueness.
How does the sizing run?
They ran true to size for me — I usually wear a size 6, and I went with a EU 36.
They haven’t stretched noticeably, so if you’re golden goose on sale women in the middle, I’d go up a size
How comfy are they?
They required minimal break-in time..
How durable are they?
Because they already have scuffs, I didn’t worry about scuffing them more. I’ve worn them all over the city, and I’m impressed with the durability. No glitter has fallen off, and the leather hasn’t stretched. Since the aesthetic is distressed, I don’t really notice if there’s new wear and tear.
How do they compare to other sneakers?
They’re the highest quality sneakers I have. I’ve tried others like Vejas, but Golden Goose still come out on top. They include a built-in arch bump that adds just over an inch — making your legs look longer. Also, they’re not mass-produced, so each pair is custom-feeling. And the glitter on mine? Absolutely gorgeous.
Are they worth it?
Totally! But I’d recommend waiting for a sale. They’re expensive, so getting them on sale is a better idea. I’d pay several hundred for the quality, especially if you pick something you’ll wear a lot. Mine have pink glitter, but a minimalist version would also go with everything.

Since they come pre-distressed, I didn’t worry about wearing them outside. I’ve worn them all over NYC, and they still look great. The laces are intact, and the shape stayed solid.
